They Said…

Christy Dignam on his favourite Aslan album: Waiting for this madness to end
Peter Holidai (The Radiators): Aslan are held in high esteem due to their longevity littered with a string of classic singles and their popularity as an excellent live band that always fully engage with the audience
Garret Wall (Singer): This Is, should have been a worldwide hit, still as fresh today as it was in 87. Hard working, professional, Christie is a unique front man
Wayne Sheehy (Musician): Aslan were Oasis before Oasis, I liked the early Aslan
Jonas Read: I don’t really know their music
Colm Mac Con Iomaire (The Frames): They’re deadly!
The 4 of Us: Great band
Martin Egan (Singer): That’s a messy question. I love the first album. I thought “Crazy World” could have been a 1,000 times better. Christy D did some great work with Conor Goff back in the 80′s but its been very patchy up to the present album which I haven’t heard yet

Concert Review

Aslan live in the Point Theatre Dublin 2001
Christy and the boys are back in action again, it’s the first time I’ve seen them in the Point and it’s a great show. They’re a brilliant band, they deserve to be playing in big places. They have loads of great songs like This is, Feel No Shame, Down on Me, Crazy World, Where’s the Sun. Great show
